FieldhouseCo documents the architectural history, typology, and current condition of historic farm outbuildings in Poland — including barns (stodoły), stables (stajnie), granaries (spichlerze), byres, carriage houses, and associated agricultural structures. The focus is on buildings constructed before 1945, spanning the range from small peasant farmsteads to large estate complexes.
The geographic scope covers the territory of present-day Poland, including regions that were historically part of Prussia, Russia and Austria. This multi-partition context produced significant variation in construction methods and materials that remains visible in the surviving building stock.

Content is written in an informational, descriptive register. The resource does not advocate for particular conservation approaches or policies, but describes documented practice and existing regulatory frameworks as accurately as available sources allow.
